Dr. Alain Nguyen
Lead Optometrist
Dr. Alain H. Nguyen has served the Bakersfield community for more than 25 years, providing precise, patient-centered eye care with a focus on accurate prescriptions, ocular disease management and dry eye treatment.
Raised in Fountain Valley, California, Dr. Nguyen first became interested in optometry during a middle school eye exam, when he was struck by the way an optometrist could evaluate the eyes and help restore clear vision with such precision. That early experience inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others see and feel better.
Dr. Nguyen earned his optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston before completing a post-doctorate residency at the Sepulveda Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Since establishing his practice in Bakersfield, he has helped thousands of patients improve their vision, comfort and overall eye health.
